My Hurt Doggie

My little dog Tipper broke his toe nails and they were bleeding so we had to take him to the vet.  The vet had to put him to sleep with medicine and clip his toe nails really short. When he came home he had a little purple band-aid that we had to keep on for 2 days.  Do you notice he has his tongue sticking out a little bit.  He likes to do this alot. He is better now! Has your pet ever been injured?

Shopping at the Flea Market

My mom took me and my children to Shipshewana to shop at the Flea Market. I bought sunglasses, strawberries, some scrapbook stickers and paper, and some mixes to make dips for crackers or pretzels.  We went to the store downtown and got a big pretzel. Do you like to go shopping at flea markets?

You Scream, I Scream, We all Scream for Ice Cream

My family loves going to get ice cream in the summer. We have been to a little ice cream place in Wilshire, Ohio. It has the most delicious flavor burst ice cream. Have you ever been to the Wilshire Drive In?

Worked in the Classroom

I worked in my classroom this afternoon to add come cool leaves to our jungle windows.  I also set up a cozy reading area with some new crate stools. School coming soon.  Do you have your school supplies?

Super 8

I took my kids to see the movie Super 8.  It was a great movie about kids working together to help each other solve a mystery.  The boy in the movie realized that bad things happen sometimes but you can still keep on living. 

Adams County 4-H Fair

Today I went to the fair to see all the neat projects kids created.  I also got to see many animals.  I think the goats are always my favorite.  There were 2 baby goats that were so cute I just had to take their picture. This was one of the cute baby goats looking through his pen.

Aerobics at the Berne Pool

Last night I went to my first water aerobics class at the Berne Pool.  It was really fun. I am still having fun with my new camera and I took some pictures of critters in our backyard.  They remind me of the book Frog and Toad by Arnold Lobel.
